Research Topic
My research focuses on the process which taboo against the military has faded in post-war Japanese society.
Recently, I am interested in how Japan's defense policy has changed since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine in 2022, and how Japanese attitudes toward defense have changed as a direct consequence.
