Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP)
  • Applicants who wish to apply for the Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program are required to contact the GSICS Academic Affairs Office as soon as possible.

Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program
(ADB-JSP)
  • The Application deadline: January 19, 2018
  • Applicants for the ADB-JSP are required to satisfy both requirements of the SPECIAL COURSE FOR DEVELOPMENT POLICY (MASTER’S COURSE) and those of the Additional Requirements for the ADB-JSP.

  • JJ/WBGSP and ADB-JSP are not offered for doctoral applicants.

Research Students

  • Application Deadline
    For the enrollment in October : (around) late May
    For the enrollment in April : (around) late November
  • Applicants who wish to become a research student at GSICS need to first receive a preliminary consent from the professor you prefer to pursue your research with.

    List of Teaching Staff
  • You must send an email to the professor, who you would like to have as your academic adviser, with the following documents.
  • Once you receive a preliminary consent from the professor, notify the GSICS Academic Affairs Office at: gsics-kyomu[at]office[dot]kobe-u[dot]ac[dot]jp
  • You will receive the application form.
  • NOTE:
    A preliminary consent from the professor does not mean your admission is approved. The admission is determined by the evaluation of your research proposal and an interview.
