GSICS Library

GSICS Library is located on the 5th floor of Graduate School Building. We provide a wide range of books, journals, master's theses and doctoral dissertations and textbooks for classes mainly to graduate students and faculty to promote their education and assist their research. You are always welcome. (Access point of the university for the wireless LAN wifi are also installed).

Library Hours

The GSICS Library is open from 10:30 am to 11:45 am and 12:45 pm to 17:00 pm during the weekdays. It is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end through New Year holidays, and other days necessary for the management and administration of GSICS Library.

User Guide

The following people may use the GSICS Library: Kobe University faculty (including part-time faculty) and graduate students, as well as other students who are enrolled in classes held by the GSICS.

General Note

To use the GSICS Library, the identification card or other certifications are required.
Master's theses and doctoral dissertations stored at the GSICS Library are for room use only. Designated textbooks and other materials may be checked out for 2 months by filling in the specified sections of the Reference Room card. The loan period may be extended if the materials have not been reserved by anyone else.
