研究課題

グローバルシティズンシップをテーマとし、教育開発におけるグローバルシティズンシップの言説、高等教育・国際教育の視点からみたグローバルシティズンシップの理解と育成に関心を持っております。博士論文では、留学経験によるグローバルアイデンティティの側面の形成メカニズムについて、混合研究法を用いて研究しでまいりました。あわせて、高等教育段階における留学経験を通じた自己形成についても興味を持っております。

Research Topic

My research centers on global citizenship, particularly about its discourses in the field of educational development, and what it means to understand and cultivate it through the lenses of higher education and international education. My doctoral research used mixed methods to explore the mechanisms through which the global identity dimension is formed through study abroad experience. I am also interested in study abroad at the higher education level as a process of self-formation.

メッセージ

グローバルシティズンシップは、漠然とした概念であるとの批判を受けながらも、国際教育開発のアジェンダにおいて重要なトピックとして取り上げられつつあります。その言説から何を学ぶことができるか、グローバルシティズンシップを育成するための教育はどのようものか。学術的な議論が進行するなかで、こうした問いを学生の皆様と一緒に考えていきたいと思います。

Message

While global citizenship is often criticized for its ambiguity, it continues to gain concentration as a major topic on the international educational development agenda. What can we take from the way it is talked about? What would an education that cultivates it look like? As the debate is still very much open, and I would like to follow it and think these questions through together with students.
