研究課題

専攻分野：国際人権、国際制度、国際規範
国際人権保障をめぐる政治を研究しています。これまではヨーロッパ、アメリカ、アフリカの地域人権条約の形成過程を中心に、国際人権規範の変容について研究成果を発表してきました。近年は国際人権規範の国内受容過程に焦点を当て、特に1970−80年代の軍事独裁政権化チリを事例として取り上げて研究しています。

Research Topic

Research Fields：International Human Rights, International Institutions, International Norms
My research focuses on the politics of international human rights. I have published a book and several journal articles on changes in international human rights norms, particularly examining regional treaty-making in Europe, the Americas, and Africa. Currently, my research centers on the domestic processes of adopting international human rights norms, with a specific focus on Chile under military dictatorship during the 1970s and 1980s.

Message

Living in a complex and uncertain world, where we face many challenges—such as human rights issues—it is important to observe and understand reality objectively. Learning theories helps us grasp different aspects of reality, and verifying facts is a key step in testing our understanding. We are here to support you in developing the skills to comprehend and explain reality—skills that form the basis for academic research and policy practices.
